How can you help Memory of Monroe Scottie Rescue?

·         Come and celebrate the lives of our terriers at the annual picnic

·         Consider sponsoring this year’s bandanas for the rescue dogs, or part of the food & beverage portion of the picnic

·         Bring an item(s) for the silent auction or rummage sale

·         Bid on items at the silent auction

·         Purchase raffle tickets for the Scottie bench or custom portrait

·         Purchase a Memory of Monroe Calendar for 2011

·         Purchase a magnet or tote bag – let the world know you love your dog

·         Volunteer at the picnic (free admission and t-shirt!) We desperately need volunteers!  (We also need volunteers for set up on   September 17th).

·         Bring a dessert for our dessert table (please let us know in advance)

·         Think positive thoughts for the year ahead and love your highland dogs unconditionally!

If you are considering volunteering, please contact Jan Seeger (janseeger@comcast.net) 612-990-8196 no later than Tuesday, September 9th. We need volunteers to help with registration, the silent auction, calendar sales, serving lunch and all kinds of duties.

Volunteers receive free registration (including lunch) and a red Memory of Monroe t-shirt.

Our silent auction is HUGE!  If you love Scottie paraphernalia or antiques, this is the place for you.  We get many donations of great items throughout the year, which are put on display during the picnic.  Place your bid and let the games begin!  The auction is our largest source of income for the year.  Bid early and bid often – the dogs need your help!

New this year is our first Scottie Rummage Sale!  There are some great bargains for Scottie & Westie Lovers!  First come, first served ... shop early before it's gone.

Auction and rummage sale items can be brought to the picnic if you're arriving early, or you can contact Jan prior to the picnic.  We’ll bring the items to the picnic and will have them ready to go.
