Hey, guess what? I have officially been adopted! Yea!
On December 5, 2003, Aunt Jan dropped me off with some very nice people, Dick and Ann Bone. I met my cousin-dog (kinda) Piper. Piper got Dick and Ann the same way I got my new mom and dad. We're both rescues!

Here I am playing in the snow in Dick and Ann's front yard.
And here's one of me with Dick and Ann and the Piper!

Piper is sticking his tongue out at Aunt Jan!
I am in my new home now and my new parents say I'm very cute, but I am a puppy! I am getting along okay with Dougie, my new brudder. He comes off as being really tough, but I think he likes me :).
We will give you more updates!
Love, Angus
Hammers and Nails and Puppy Dog Tails? Is that what they think this little boy is made of? Got the puppy dog tail right!

Hello world! I am Angus, more commonly known as Sir Angus Flamboe. You can call me Gus. Yessirree, I have my new home already and I'm just chomping at the bit (and chomping everything else) to get going. I am five months old and I haven't met anyone or anything that I don't like. Food is tops on that list!
My life has been an adventure. My journey began in Missouri at a place that most people wrinkle their faces at. The first letter starts with a "P" and the last word rhymes with "pill". Okay, I gotta be nice cuz I think my relatives are still there. I was FILTHEY! Pee-yooo!
Someone introduced me to Aunt Kathy and I played in her yard and made a real name for myself. My name was Bubba thanks to Uncle Toto. They got me all fixed up at the place called the vet. I guess I got "tutored" and now I am very smart!
On November 30, Uncle Toto put me in the car and drives me to Iowa where I meet new Aunts, Jan and Sue. Uncle Toto was walking me when those two showed up and they squealed and hugged me and Aunt Jan put me in her car. Cool, I get another ride, but she put me in this crate and I screamed! They weren't going to budge, so a guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do. I dropped them a stinky little present in the crate and they sure got me outta there fast! haha. I got to ride in Aunt Sue's lap the rest of the way home! That tutoring must have really worked because I am smart!

I have made myself at home. I must belong here because everyone caters to my every need. I love the toys. I have a little Santa toy that I can make sing and Aunt Jan says that's gotta go home with me. Cool. See, told you I was smart! I really like Frasier a lot and he likes me too. There are some other fosters here and we all get along great!
But, I am really looking forward to meeting that guy who says I'm his birthday present. Whoo hoo! He laughs whenever Aunt Jan tells him stuff about me. (Bet he'd love the one about me almost swallowing a quarter)! And my new mom is so excited too. I hope my new brudder likes me because I know that I like him already! He's a short black dog, just like me. Thank you to my new family for loving me unconditionally, sight unseen. You guys are awesome!
And a special hello to my new Aunt and Uncle, Dick and Ann. I promise to be good when you drive me to my new home! (heehee)
Lovingly
yours,
Angus Flamboe
