Meet Duke!

Updated 3/10/04 - I think I must be loved a whole bunch because everyone's got red eyes and wet stuff coming down their cheeks.  Why are they so happy to see me today?  All I did was got a little spooked and then went on an adventure.  Seems everyone in my town (and everyone else in the US, Canada and most other places) knew that I was missing from home.  They wanted me reunited with my new Mom & sister really bad and everyone was talking about Scottie angels and novenas and all kinds of stuff.  All I know is that I am very tired and I got fed some cat food today.  Everyone is hugging me and kissing me and I even got some Greenies and new toys from my foster mom.  Mom's phone keeps ringing and everyone is very happy that I am HOME where I belong!  I will not do this again.  I will not do this again. I will not do this again,

Love, Bailey

Updated 3/3/04 - Guess what?  I have some wonderful news!  I have been adopted...again.

Here I am with my new family

The cats aren't in the picture because they were "secured" from me until I got more comfortable in my new surroundings.

Aunt Jan adopted me out before Christmas and although I had a lot of fun at my temporary home, I couldn't understand why I had to share my mom with another dog (although she will always be my other honey bunny).  Everyone thought I would be much happier in a less hectic environment.  Everyone told me the right thing would come when we were ready, and it did.  I think I am really going to like it here.  Three cats are cool!  One even has a Scottish name!

My new mom (s) are actually mother and daughter and they are letting me be more comfortable each day.  How can I go wrong?  They need a Scottie to fill their hearts and I think I am the guy.

I am a Scottie boy looking for my forever home.

We all have a story, and here's mine.  I came from a puppy mill in Missouri.  I found my way to Aunt Kathy's with three other Scotties.  Aunt Kathy got us going in the right direction - we all got cleaned up and put together.  Then we drove to Des Moines and met Aunt Jan.  She brought us to her house, and I am in love with Rosie Fiona!  She's my honey bunny.

Aunt Jan says getting a picture of my mug is like trying to shoot holes in a flying kleenex.

You can see my beautiful brindle colors.  I am really very pretty and I wag my tail pretty much all the time.  I am a happy boy.

I love playing with toys and I like sleeping in a little doggie bed.  Aunt Jan says that I am a keeper!  I am neutered and current on all my shots.  I don't have heartworm, thank DOG!  That is nasty stuff!

I don't seem to have many of the bad side effects of my upbringing in a mill.  I do like my chow though!

I need a family who will play with me and love me for who I am.  I promise to give a lifetime of gratitude and fun right backatchya.

Love, Bailey
