Hello! My name is Carrie and I have a story to tell.
I came from a commercial breeding facility where I was a mama dog for a while. But, it came time for retirement and I got to go to boot camp so that I could get adopted. I got to stay with Aunt Pat and Uncle Tom in Omaha. We had a lot of fun there with the other dogs, but Aunt Pat knew I would be happiest as an only dog. After I got all fixed up, it was time for my home visit.
Here's my "before" picture. If I was in Glamour Magazine, I'd have black tape over my eyes.

Coming into rescue was kind of stressful because we only knew our other home. Gracie and I were afraid the first couple of days, but then we did okay. I got spayed first and got to my new mom in short order. What a match!! She has had Scotties before and she just knew that a girl like me would be the girl for her. We get along great and she spoils me rotten! (But I deserve it).

Here's some pictures of me in my new home. Every Scottie girl deserves her own sofa.

We have a very comfortable home and I make new strides every day. This is the kind of life we all deserve. Thank you, Aunt Pat and Uncle Tom, for giving me a good foundation and finding my new mom. I think I'll keep her!
Here I am with my best pal in the whole world ... my Mom Cindie!

Love,
Carrie
