Danny

Updated May 18, 2004 - We have a new photo of my "dog" family, Milo, Jack and me!  Things are going great.  I get to go on the morning walk with the rest of the crew, which is mom and dad's walking club.  I've lost a little weight and can walk a long ways now.  Life is good!

Update!  On December 6, 2003, I got my new family!!!

Things couldn't get much better.  I've got these amazing doggie beds all over the house, and a wonderful back yard.  My dad is newly retired and he's going to brush my teeth and take me for a walk every morning.  How cool is that?  I have two dog-brothers.  Milo is a Flat-Coated Retriever, and Jack, is a bouncy Jack Russell Terrier.  Jack makes me laugh.  I think I'm going to like it here.  There's no birds here, but I can deal with all of this.  Here's a picture of me in one of several doggie beds.

And here's another one of me admiring my beautiful new surroundings.

And here's a picture of the back yard with Milo and Jack.  My new Mom (wow is she ever a nice lady!) sent Aunt Jan a new picture so you can see all of us in the yard.  I have a fun woobie in my mouth.

Hello!  My name is Danny and I am happy to meet you!

I need to tell you a bit about myself.  I am a beautiful four-year old Scottie boy.  I was born in Nebraska and lived with my family until just a short time ago.  My former family had three other dogs and they also raised birds.  I kind of liked the birds better than the dogs, so they said I had to move somewhere else, where I could be loved for who I am and not be in trouble.

I love to please and I'm pretty obedient!  I'm housebroke and I like to go outside and make sure all is under control.  I do like cuddling up with people and I think watching tv is a great thing to do!   I like other dogs okay, but I sure don't like it when they try to pester me and I want to sleep.  I love my little doggy bed.   I'm a healthy boy, but my front legs are kind of bowed out.  Aunt Jan tells me that I'm beautiful no matter what, and she loves how I look.  Of course, she IS my foster mom and she does think I'm pretty special.

I need a home where someone will spend time with me and nurture my inner dog.  I want to be someone's companion very bad, and I know that I'll find a good home.  Aunt Jan keeps saying it's a forever deal, and that sounds good.  I like car rides, and I love my food.  I have been playing with some toys here and they're okay too!  I weigh about 28 lbs. and Aunt Jan says I am breathtakingly beautiful.

I promise to love you back if your heart connects with mine.  Once that happens, it can only get amazingly better.

Love, Danny
