Updated on 4/11/04 - I have some great news!

I have been adopted by a great family and now I live on a farm!  I have my Mom and Dad (who are champion cuddlers), a Westie sister named Weezer, and two Scottie brothers, Max and MacGregor.  They are all rescues, too.  Wow!

Mom and Dad have been great Scottie parents to two other Scottie girls, Tessa and Trixana.  Both of them are at the Rainbow Bridge now, but I know they had something to do with matching me to my new family.

Special thank you to my foster mom and dads, Elaine and Dave, Pat and Tom, and AJ & Larry.  So many people cared about me and wanted me to be in my new home.  Thank you!

Hello Everyone!

I am Gracie and here is my story.  On March 6, 2004, my Aunt AJ & Uncle Larry rescued me from a puppy mill.  We met at an old gas station across from a church and so Aunt AJ thought I should be named Gracie.  Cute, huh?  Well, I had a little Cairn fellow with me, and his name was Gordy.  He's in foster care too!

I was all done being bred.  They were teaming me up with a Poodle and Bichon and selling my puppies.  I could only produce one puppy at a time, but if you saw how tiny I was, you might know why.  I am right around 4 yrs old and I am ready for a life of love. 

I got spayed and had my teeth cleaned at the vets.  I got all my shots too and was checked for heartworm.  I'm just dandy! 

I have been at Aunt Pat & Uncle Tom's since March 12 with some other Scotties.  I have had fun, but I was sure stressed out at first.  I don't understand all this "forever" business, but I do know I like to have fun!  Aunt Pat saw the goofy girl in me come out.  I played with toys and had a lot of fun.  I love my cookies!  I think treats are really cool!
