Hello world,
We are Heidi (top) and Aunt Stella (bottom). We are two Scottie girlies who are loved by a lot of people. Here's a bit of our story.
Our dad loved us more than anything on this earth. He got me (Heidi) as a puppy and watched me grow. He took me for long walks every day and always gave me treats. I had more balls to play with than most dogs! We had a sister named Sadie, but she went to the Rainbow Bridge. She was a Cocker and my dad loved her bunches. After Sadie, my dad wanted another dog, but he wanted a rescue Scottie, so Aunt Stella came into our lives. Stella was named by my dad, and she came from the same place I did originally in Iowa. She was done having puppies and needed a home where she would be loved. That would be with me and my dad!
My dad made lots of cool stuff and he always donated it to rescue. He loved hearing about the Scotties who didn't have homes, and he wanted to help.
Here's our dad with a grapevine sculpture he made just for Scottie Rescue

Our dad went to be with Sadie in March, 2005. We miss him a bunch, but we are doing just fine. We went to live with Bob and Sharon and Dusty, Day-Zee, and Puppy, Denry the Rooster, and Wool-e the bunny. We have everything we could possibly need or want. I have balls of all kinds of shapes and sizes and that makes me very, very happy!! Stella has an air conditioning register that she loves to sit by. She's so funny!

We go for two big walks a day and have a great yard to play in. Our new mom makes sure we look beautiful all the time and we are well taken care of.
We love our new home and all of our new friends. We miss our old life, but dad made sure he knew where we were going to so he would never worry about us.
If you have any spare balls, you can send them to me, Heidi!

Love,
Heidi and Stella
