Hello!
Updated on 3/1/04 - My family was nice enough to send some new pictures to my foster mom, so it's time to get my page updated. My big news is that I can really walk well on a leash and I'm losing some of this extra baby weight I've been carrying around. I had an owie on my foot from the ice and they were nice enough to take me to the vet. I got a good report!
Here's some pictures of me in my new home - I sure like this window business. Genevieve taught me that one. Terriers are smart.

The other fun thing is that I feel right at home here. I am getting lots of attention and I think my family is happy with me. I know I am with them - until later,
Margaret

Updated on 1/13/04 - I have some tremendous news! I found my "forever" family and it is everything I hoped for and then some! Here "we" are! Mary, Connie and the pooches, Honey, Genevieve and me, Margaret. Isn't this wonderful?

I have a wonderful new home. Wow ... I didn't know life could be so good. In addition to my humans (who will be trained in no time at all), I have two new sisters. Honey and Genevieve. Gen is a Westie and Honey is a mixed breed. They've been showing me the ropes.
We have a really nice back yard and I like being out there. My humans also have me on what they call an exercise plan and I've done it a few times already! Go Margaret! I am learning how to walk on a leash. Here's me and Honey and Gen playing "getting to know you" on my gotchya day.

Things are pretty neat and I am a lucky little girl. Thank you to everyone who got me where I am today. Gen says we have to have a picture of her, too. She's a princess and I really like that in a girl!

Now there's two Scottish dogs in the house. I am a happy girl!
Love,
Margaret

My name is Margaret and I turned five years old while I was in foster care. Yes, that's right! December 29 is my fifth birthday and now I'm entering retirement. I was a mama dog for many years and I'm retiring from having babies! I even had that operation that will make me not be a mama dog anymore.

I came into rescue with my cohort, Shorty. Shorty and I both came from the same place in Iowa where we had been mama and papa dogs. But, now we've got a chance to be YOUR dog! I'm finding this house stuff to be a little confusing. I kind of like it though, but I'm a little bit shy.
Aunt Jan says we're getting the hang of going outside, but we need to get to the point where we let her know when we've got to go. That will take some time and that's what we need - someone who will take the time to show us the rules and love us forever.
I am a very sweet, laid back girlie. I am current on all my vaccinations and am heartworm negative. I had my teeth cleaned (and some pulled) recently, but I'm raring to go and looking for a family to call my own. I will do best with someone that is home quite a bit and doesn't mind having me follow them around. I like to be where people are, and I really enjoy getting held and being talked to.

Aunt Jan gave me a bunch of toys to play with, and Shorty strewed them all over the house. I like chasing after Shorty better than playing with the toys.
My haircut isn't quite "Scottie", but I will grow a beard and eyebrows in no time.
I love sleeping in my little doggie bed and I love Greenies! We all got them after dinner for a birthday treat!

Love, Margaret
