Which means "Light of My Heart"
Updated May 18, 2004 - Mom sent Aunt Jan some new pictures of me. I got a haircut and I look waaaay toooo beeeeyoootiful for words!

Before and After!
And here I am with my groomer, Sallie

Otis and I
have our own couch, but I was too short to get up there by myself, so my Mom put
a big reading pillow on the floor, so I could climb right up there. She tried to
get me climbing but I am too fast for her.
There is a picture of me and Otis sunbathing which is one of our favorite daily
activities, and this was early spring when it *really* felt good.
Another picture is my dear buddy Otis, he is mostly very sweet to me except one
day I went for his bone and he got mad and bit my paw. We are friends again
though.

Updated on December 15, 2003

This is my new family! Meet Jo and my brudder, Otis!
I have some BIG news! I am officially 'dopted. On the morning of December 13, Aunt Jan was running around getting things "ready". We went in the car and I took a long snooze. It was a long drive, but so worth it because I got hugged and kissed a whole bunch. Otis and I sniffed each other because that's how us dogs say hi. I think he approved. Aunt Jan says Otis takes her breath away. He is about two times the size of me and SO dignified!
I loved meeting my new mom and I am going to be loved a lot - I can just tell. She is a real Scottie lover and a wonderful person. Aunt Jan approves big time! We have gone for some really good walks which will get my body back in shape, and I love my Doggie Dorm where I sleep! In fact, I don't wanna leave it in the morning and go out into the COLD! Yikes!
But, I just want to say thank you to everyone who got me where I am today - loved and in a great home.
Love, Sulie
Here I am with my main squeeze, Otis:

Hello! My name is Sulie, and I am enjoying my days as a lady of leisure!

Here's some new pictures of me on 12/8/03 when I was taking a bit of a snoozer. I just do not like going to sleep knowing someone is within five feet of me and has hands to pet me!

Until a couple of weeks ago, I was living in a puppy mill. I recently had puppies and everyone knows that because my body looks like it. I am really becoming accustomed to the special treatment I have been getting. First, Aunt Kathy got me all groomed and everything and I felt sooooo good! Then, she made sure I got all my shots and that special operation so I can't have any more puppies. I am still healing a bit from that.
On December 7th, Uncle Toto drove me and Duke (he was with all of us at the mill) to Iowa to meet Aunt Jan. She laughs when we lick her face. We went for a long car ride! When we got home we met three other black dogs like us (except the tall one, Frasier). I was so nervous and I went potty three times in ten minutes. That must be a record!
Aunt Jan got us all introduced and Duke and I had our heads in this huge toy basket for awhile. There are some cool things in there!

We ate our dinner and Aunt Jan gave us treats for going potty outside (yea!). I got part of a baby carrot. I liked it and I'm the only one other than Rosie and Frasier who ate it. They're great!
Aunt Jan has been telling me about my new mom and new brudder Otis. I think this will be great. I hope you are happy with me, but I think we are going to be the happiest three-some on earth.
Love,
Sulie
