Tom O'Shanter

Hello, my name is Tom O'Shanter, or Tommy for short. Do I have a story! Whew! It's been a whirlwind.

Sometime in June, I was found running alongside a very busy highway. A very nice man saved me from certain tragedy by putting me in his car and taking me home. He had some other dogs and a cat. Then, I went to the man's sister's house while we tried to find my family. They did everything they could to make sure I got back to my real family, but no one claimed me. I sure liked staying with them. They were really nice to me and I loved my temporary little boy! We had so much fun. But, my temporary family loved me a lot - enough to see that I got what I needed, so we drove to Minneapolis for a big shopping trip and met Aunt Jan.

Aunt Jan said she knew the perfect home for me, and a few days later, I had another big adventure. My new mom has had Scotties before and misses them! She says I am a stitch, and very lovey. I like to be with other animals but I love being with my mom even better. I have a new cat, Mai Zing, and she's black like me. Shadow, the Samoyed, is the filling for our Oreo cookie.

My new mom loved me the minute she laid eyes on me. I will be good and protect her. I love the back yard! Here I am with my new mom.
